What is the weight of the factory mainspring in a p220? My research shows it to be 24lb, which is the same for most other p series pistols as well. My research comes from other forums so i figured i would try to confrim with someone on here.

I ask because im considering swapping out the mainspring in my p220 to get a lighter pull weight. I see people say dont go less than 18lb. So o was considering a 19lb. I also saw that people say use a DAK mainspring. Supposedly it will be relieable and lighter. Anyone have any expeirence doing any of this? Im trying to love my 220 but i have yet to be able to shoot it well. I have swapped out the short reach trigger for the thicker one, which did help but not enough. I just swapped the grips to houge panels and it feels much better, but i havent shot it yet to confirm. I think the grips may have neen what im looking for since now it feels wider like a 226. I still would like a slightly lighter trigger pull.
