Skies Over Southwest Baltimore County Tonight

Anybody know what was going on tonight (8/24 into 8/25) in the Lansdowne/Baltimore Highlands/Riverview/Halethorpe area of Baltimore County? The helo was buzzing/searching the area for what seemed to be almost 2 hours. It's finally quiet and my dog and cat are still bouncing off the walls. I know it's Christmas Eve in August but I didn't hear any sleigh bells.
