Was wondering if the smaller one would be nice for CC. But probably a bit of a challenge.

A P-229 is a hair shorter , and a hair taller than a G19 .

I shoot my P228 (same dimensions as the P229, superior slide and balance, IMO) better than anything else I own, so it’s my primary carry gun. I have no problem concealing it OWB at 3:30-4:00 or in a shoulder rig, depending on wardrobe.

I agree. Not being a fan of striker fired and/or plastic guns, I think the P228 is an excellent carry piece.

My 226 was my first gun, purchases around 1990, NIB but not the current year. I couldn't hazard a guess at the number of flawless times it has gone Knall (it's the German version.)
