heres my baby, built a little over a year ago, has performed flawlessly, not a single malfunction yet, have put about 600 rounds through it.

its definitely a far better shooter than i am.

its a 16" rainier arms barrel, med contour, has polygonal rifling.

YHM rail and flash suppressor, aero precision lower, daniel defense upper and BCG, spikes battle trigger and of course all the lovely green bits are magpul, with an eotech sitting on top.

my other AR, the first one i bought, although it was actually a joint purchase between my older brother and I in 07 or so.

its a fulton armory FAR-15 20" HBAR flat top with a carry handle attached.

3 of my brothers built AR's at the same time as me, my older brother never finished his yet, 2 of my younger brothers did.

heres one, its my brothers lefty blackhole polygonal barreled railed upper on a spikes lower and misc magpul bits.

and finally, heres my other younger brother shooting his retro build.

its basically just a surplus a1 kit on an aero precision lower.

im the shaggy beast manning the spotting scope, lol.

    Nice, always love seeing bayonets.

Here is the end result of the SBR build from the first post.

Short Barreled Rifle. A highly regulated item by the BATFE +200 tax stamp.

^^ yup. Any rifle with a barrel under 16".

I am considering a build very similar to this with a welded golf ball launcher attatched. That way I will have the look of a supressed SBR and the ability to lob dummy grenades which looks like fun for the Yugo SKS owners I know. Without any of the class 2 paperwork and fees.

If you need a golf-ball launcher, I can donate one to you - I don't use it anymore. :)

See you at the next SMIBtogether or the Friends of NRA banquet. How far do they throw crap? I might slap it on a 22 until I build my lower.

With homemade blanks and just a bare golf-ball in it, about 275 yards. You can get past 300 easy if you make a little sabot for the golf-ball.

They fly like a knuckle-ball though, but still great fun.

I was thinking of making some fin stabilized dummys like the ones they use on the Yugos that fit inside.
