S.C. Gov. Henry McMaster Friday endorsed a bill that would allow South Carolinians to carry a concealed firearm without a permit.
“Governor McMaster appreciates the House’s hard work on this bill, believes it is constitutional and will sign it if it reaches his desk,” said McMaster spokesman Brian Symmes.
Signing the pro-gun bill would appeal to gun advocates who vote in the 2018 Republican primary for the governor, when McMaster will be seeking a four-year term.
The proposal, sponsored by state Rep. Mike Pitts, R-Laurens, calls for what often is referred to as “constitutional carry.” The bill would allow those who legally can own a firearm to carry it concealed without a government-issued permit.

Let's keep in mind the SC Senate has killed these bills several times in the past and they don't have huge majorities (27-18) like in SD or OK. It should have no issue passing the House (80-44 advantage and have passed it before).
On April 9th, a subcommittee of the South Carolina state Senate Committee on Judiciary will hear Senate Bill 139, the SC Constitutional Carry Act of 2019, to ensure that any law-abiding adult who may legally possess a firearm may carry a handgun for self-defense without first having to go through government red tape.

So OK, KY and maybe SC recently...meanwhile, it’s all but dead here in TX...
I would simply be excited if SC started issuing or recognizing other states NR permits. There is that large swath of red on I-95 from here to FL.
