Was awesome! Thanks to everyone. Since I am an AK idiot, I had no idea what I was doing. So many helpful people. Hopefully next time I can offer some assistance.

A big thanks to Tim, glad I was able to help you out and give back a little.

I had a great time seeing everyone and meeting/helping some new builders. Always a great group of guys.

You were a HUGE help to me. I had the deer in the headlights expression, I'm sure. Thanks so much for your help!

Thanks to tc and his hospitality, the 63/65D hybrid lives again.

Going to hit the range in the morning and run a few mags thru it.

That's a great FSA2013 compliant pistol build. Nice work!

    Thanks.

Ran just under 200 rounds thru it today at the range, had 1 malfunction the entire day - a failure to feed, bolt skipped over w/out stripping the next round out of the mag.

Used Fiocchi brass case, just to see if there was any pressure signs or anything else undesirable going on. No pressure signs to speak of.

I'm already working on Form 1 for it, pistol is fun, SBR would be even more fun.

Always happy to help a new builder. You picked it up fast; I never saw the deer in the headlights. I know you're close to done, so let us know when you have it running.

    Maybe 1 or 2 more. :innocent0

A big 'Thank You' to you sir, for your time and help. Definitely opened my eyes to the ins and outs of building one. Much appreciated.

Two questions from the build party...

Who had the vented top hand guard and where did you buy it?

Who brought the new barrel press jig, and where did you buy it?

    Thanks
