The Star Model B was earlier than the Mobel B Super. They are pretty similar, with the exception of a few minor mechanical differences-the Super has a takedown lever on the frame, while the Model B takes down similar to a GI 1911. Drop by and take a look if you're interested.

The mailman is bringing my Star on Tuesday thanks to my C&R. I'll probably shoot it once or twice and ask myself why I spent $300 on an old gun when I could have just put it toward something new. It is a sickness.....

Yes, I believe two we have were made prior to 1965.
