Steel plate shooting question

    I plan to build a four point, workhorse style, steel plate stand. My question for those that have them is, what is the height from ground to horizontal bar are most of you using. Just working on some ideas and could use your input, thanks.

    Something to consider on your stand... there will be splatter 360 degrees out from the face of your steel target. Anything on that plane will receive bullet fragments. They can be very sharp. :innocent0

    I suggest facing any exposed wood on those potential contact surfaces with a thin replaceable strip of wood to absorb the fragments. :thumbsup:

    AGC now permits steel targets, with a few conditions.
