I have a S&W M&P 10-22 and love it. It has handled every ammo brand/velocity I have thrown at it.
That may very well be my next 22. Even at the not so great 10 cents a round 22lr costs everywhere, it's still way cheaper to shoot than any other firearm I own. Since I really like the BOOM though, I think on a day I shoot 22s, before I'm packed up I'll blast a small box of 12 gauge slugs and still be $$$ ahead.
