I like #3 for the front (I just think the solid white letters will show up better)...

That looks real good. I'd suggest going with that one. The white letters with black outline are going to show up a lot better than the black letters. Just looks cleaner also IMO

FYI, I sent a request for quote to the shirt shop yesterday, and as long as it is reasonable I will give them the green light. I will give them the final graphics at that time.

If you want to go with a different design than what I am going to mass produce, then you can use CafePress as others have done. Their prices are very reasonable for a single run shirt as well.
