Took my new Taurus 992 out to Elk Neck this afternoon for it's first test drive. Ordered it in March and it was released yesterday. The gun functioned flawless and I shot 2 inch groups at 25 yards, my 60 year old eyes are not what they used to be because I'm sure it can do better. Swapping the cylinders out sure beats what I have to go through with my Ruger single six. And as a side note I took my Smith & Wesson rifle (Yes I said S&W rifle) in 270 Win to sight it in. First five rounds could be covered by a quarter at 100 yds so for the hell of it I shot 5 more through the same holes. Feels good knowing that it's dead on before hunting season.
