I want to install an 92 AF slide on my 99 AF frame with firing pin block not a decocker.
I like the idea of having the option of adjustable and fixed sight slides.

How can I tell if the 92 slide is for a FPB or decocker?

The pictures show my 99 AF slide (circa1990) and a newer model 92 AF slide.

you would need to find a taurus beretta aficionado, or talk to Taurus customer support. At least to me those are two different type of systems will the slide of 1 even work on the frame of another and keep its intended functionality?

Thanks for the suggestion. Making a call is my next step.

I doubt you will get any relief from Taurus.

The only way that might work is to fit a pin beneath the front of the decocking lever so that it can't go down. I don't know if there is enough room on the frame in front of the safety spring to do it however.
