TCSC IDPA 9/18

Message from our Match Director:


September IDPA match is on Tuesday 9/18.

The match will begin at 14:00 PROMPTLY. Get there early to be sure to register. It will be up to individual SO's as to whether they will take late-comers once the match starts, but a slot for late-comers is not assured.

If you would like a discount, come at 12:45 to help set up and stay to the end to help put infrastructure away and clean up.

New shooters class begins at 12:00, but those planning to take the class should email me on Monday to be sure that the class is still on. (chiphammond@comcast.net)

Classifier. By appointment Matt Matthys will run a classifier concurrent with the match for those who need it. You can shoot either the match or the classifier. If you wish to shoot in the classifier email Matt at matt0302@cox.net. with a request to include your name (as it appears at IDPA HQ) and your IDPA #. Classifier will take place in Bay 2 and will cost $10.

The main match will be a 6 stage match with a nominal round count of 52. Additionally, there will be a nominal 18 round, 2 stage side match that can be shot either with a carbine or handgun.

Reminder: Do not speed coming into or out of the club.

Just a heads up: Chip will send out a go/no go for our 9/18 match sometime tonight as the forecast states there is an 80% chance of rain in the Thurmont area.

Yep match is cancelled. Message from Chip:

Due to inclement weather the September IDPA match is cancelled.

We will plan to run the same match on 16 October, which will be the last regular match of the season. We hope to shoot the postal match on 20 Nov., but that match will be limited only to those who have shot IDPA at TCSC in the past.
