TCSC IDPA Match May 17th

Reminder our next match is Tuesday May 17th.

Weather permitting this will be a classifier match.

If you've shot IDPA with us before you should get an e-mail from our Match Director as a reminder.

The May 17 Match will be the classifier.

The match will begin at 1200 instead of the regular 1400 start time.

Please Read Carefully: Registration will close no later than 1400. It may close earlier than that. We'll begin taking shooters at 1200. If at 1330 we call out "who's the next shooter" and there are no takers, we'll begin to break down and clean up. If you show up after we've started to do that you've missed your opportunity. If we have shooters still coming throughout they day, at 1400 the registration table will be taken down.

This shoot is the classifier, and you probably need to have shot at Thurmont before as there will not likely be instruction.

In a normal month, the class for first-timers precedes the shoot.

TCSC IDPA Tuesday - match cancellation notice

I just received (as probably many of you that have attended in the past) an e-mail from our Match Director. Below is his notification for tomorrow's match:


Due to weather reports and predictions of chance of rain for Thurmont MD at 100% for Tuesday and up to 1 inch falling, the match for tomorrow is cancelled.

We've lost our window for a spring Classifier. The Classifier is scheduled for the October match, with November as the alternate.

Hopefully we'll have better weather next month.
