    Hi guys!

A while back I put a pair of tech sights on my 10/22. They are pretty neat but i've been thinking about the possibility of adding optics and having the tech sights serve as backups.

I'm trying to figure out how to add some kind of optics - maybe something like this: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/38...moa-dot-with-integral-weaver-style-base-matte

I was wondering what, if anything, would fit in addition to the tech sights.

the picture below shows the current setup - as you can see there is some room left possible to mount a rail ?? Is there enough room to mount optics??

Nice! Thanks. So I just need a weaver rail and to chop off rail to fit it... Any experience cutting these? How strong are these things - what do I need to cut/trim one?

wolfsburg- i really like that Amega mount.. but for the money I'm going to try to do it on the cheap by chopping down a rail and mounting it on the receiver..

For the record, were I to do it over I may have gone with something like this:

Will update with pics if/when I complete the project. Thanks Folks.

That's a nice set up. I have a new carbine that might get this treatment.
