For some reason I get a big dot below my post and my sig. Seems like a bullet point, but no matter what I do I can't get rid of it. Anyone know what that could be?

I would try going into my signature, hitting delete from the very beginning to make sure I delete everything seen and unseen, and close out the user CP. Then just rewrite the signature.
