The "Green Truck of Firewood Happiness"...

I'd only been home from a biz trip about an hour late this afternoon when I heard the rumble of a dump truck with its "beep-beep" backing up my driveway. WTF?

Next thing I knew one of my very good friends was moving a couple of flower pots so he could dump a free load of split and seasoned firewood to keep us warm this winter. Really?

It all happened so fast I didn't get a pic of the green dump truck. But having terrific friends is in Garrett County is why we love living here.

Looks like I'll be stacking firewood and then blowing away leaves this weekend...

That is awesome. Man. I am happy for you. Its rare to find people like that. I often try to be that generous however my wife says I spoil my good nature on undeserving people. I am a big believer in karma. I figure one day some person I may help may be the person that helps me when I am in a dire situation.
