Somebody check the newest issue of Guns N' Ammo magazine.

I read on another forum that they published an article of Bubba sporterizing an intact Swedish M41 SNIPER RIFLE!!!!! WTF!!!!

Apparently the author was pretty content with himself, and even mocked people who wouldn't want him to sporterize a perfectly good, rare $1800+ rifle....sounds like he just wanted the action and trashed everything else.

I couldn't find the article online yet but I'm not surprised since it's new. If that's the case I'll never buy that rag again. It's been in decline for a while anyway.

what the hell is it? (or was it?) AK-forty-mosin?
from the background it looks more like Achmed then Bubba though, a field-expedient lash-up?

The twitter I found those on was Japanese. Google translate says they were recovered in Pakistan.

You asked for it. So here goes.

I thought it would be fun to post any and all Curio and Relic Bubba rifles here.

As we all know, some surplus firearms are total POS and are worth less than what you actually paid for them and they will never be anything other than a toss around beaters.

Many of us built Bubba's from just barreled actions and not complete rifles.

So don't be ascairt. Let's see those cobbled together Frankenrifles.

And remember, if God didn't want us to build Bubba guns, he wouldn't have given us JB-Weld and Camo in a can.

    Turkish Model 38.

8mm Mauser. 18-1/2 inch barrel. 39 inch OAL

Homemade muzzle brake. Slip fitted on to the barrel and secured with JB-Weld of course.

    Rustoleum rattle camo.

If it works, it works. It could be covered in twizzlers and beef jerky and I would still shoot it if it did what it is suppose to do. The paint job does make my eyes a little itchy, though, looks like sand art was sprayed onto it....
