    California always wanted to be a separate country. We should let it go and ban any politician from that God forsaken place to ever hold office in the US.

    And when the ground opens up and the fires consume CA, our Follywood-worshipping culture will no longer be found wanting for pillars of salt.

    Actually, the San Andreas fault runs along the coast for much of the state before heading out to sea...so, when the big one hits, only the coastal areas in southern and central California will get schwacked, leaving much of the state untouched.

    Coincidentally, these are the most liberal areas, so California's political alignment will improve accordingly...Winning!:D
