Thought on 6.8 spc II. Heavy barrel or not

Thinking of buying this but I'm not sure if it falls in the heavy barrel realm. Can someone help/advise.

That barrel is an M4 profile barrel, not HBAR.

Why are you looking for a heavy barrel, OP? There's no legal requirement that you must use one in a non-5.56 build.

That's a matter of interpretation. I would generally advocate going HBAR when possible even on non-5.56 builds.

6.8 uses a different bolt and magazine. I tend to be sceptical as well, but I would not hesitate using a non HBAR 6.8 barrel.
