Just wanted to give a Thumbs Up to Shooters Choice in Smyrna, DE as being a good range, first class people, nice atmosphere. I've put many a casing on that floor. If you get a chance, check them out, and if John is working, tell him Mike from TX. sent you. :party29:

I also highly recommend Shooters Choice. Just recently I wanted to buy a SIG P229 Equinox. Went to gun shops from Laurel to Upper Marlboro to Easton to Dover. Only Shooters Choice could get it (and they're the only ones that had one to hold - already sold). They got one overnighted from the SIG factory, then they overnighted it to Vonnie's in Kennedyville (who charged only $20 for FFL paperwork). The price at Shooters Choice was right and included a discount for purchasing a year of range time (plus, no sales tax). Very nice folks, nice range, nice atmosphere. Well worth the pleasant drive over there.

    Sweet.

I get so tired of hearing about everybodys' bad experiences with gunshops. It's refreshing and encouraging to hear people singing some praise.

I have a problem with their excessive (as I see it) range fees. I also went in there once in the summer and it was probably 90 degrees in the range area. I came out after 10 minutes because I couldn't take it anymore and they would NOT refund my money NOR would they give me a credit for my unused time for another visit. I thought is was a crappy thing for them to do.

I have been, and will continue to take my range business to Delmarva Sporting Clays instead of Shooters Choice in the future.
