    I think the '73 needs a playmate!
Put 40 rnds into targets at 25 yrds.
Recoil..A little bit more then a M-1 Carbine..
Ejection of empty cases very. positive.
A big thanks to 4570 for recc. the longer barrel.
From the bench rest it feels very solid.

Pat and I were at the range 1400 hrs.Noo body there!
She looked for brass.Did pick up a few 9mm and 5.56.I think the Hooligans will be pleased with my latest toy!

Hey, where are the pics? Did you get the Taylor's model? Apologies if I missed the update on another thread.

I agree that you can't have just one! Need an 1892 or 1860 now. I was looking at a couple of Rossi 1892s last night on the internet, the Ranch Hand (need a MD HQL) or a 16-inch stainless. So tempting, with lower price points ($400 and $500, respectively, not incl transfer fees).

    T'ain't No Problem Here...

Wagtail, you're now hooked! GFY!! As far as a playmate goes we'll get you pointed in the right direction on a revolver chambered in 45 Colt. :D

I can't wait to see your new toy! There will be plenty of pics taken at the next Hooligan shoot. In the meantime here's one to whet folk's appetites.

Glad you and Pat had fun.

    Fidelity..Yes it was indeed Taylor's Uberti 1873 24.25" rifle.
The long barrel seems to have a rock steady feel to it.
Taylor's is having a dealer.. customer event May 17/18 at their facility.
I hope to have a couple hands on, with several other models.
A real joy to shoot, and I must say quite a looker.

Joe.If you are in the area, would be delighted to
    arrange a meet,and hold event.
Going to see Dr.Johnson Tuesday noon about the busted nose.
Two months tomorrow since I took the trip.
Still have a hard tyme breathing thru the nose.
    Best to staff.

Sweet. Possibly this one from the description ...

Thinking about getting a tang rear sight for my 1873. There are a few options at the Taylor's website.

I think the Taylor's customer event would be quite dangerous to attend. So much temptation.

Taylor's has your matching 1873 .45LC revolver just waitin' for you:

I am not sure that you can wait until May 17 for this one to join your 1873 rifle.

The picture doesn't match the description :innocent0

The picture you posted is the 5 1/2" version, which is a nice balance versus the longer 7 1/2" and the shorter 4 1/2" version. He's going to need some leather, too.
