Im anxious to try trap/skeet/sporting clays for the first time and St. Charles Sportsmans Club is the nearest to me. Is it worth going there or should I go to PG or somewhere else?

Also, how does, say trap, compare to using a hand thrower. Thats the experience I have with clays is shooting them after theyve been thrown by hand. Im pretty good at that. Im assuming they go faster and farther in a real game, but is it a reasonable assumption that if I can hit 95% of hand thrown clays that I wont totally suck when I do it for real?
