It all depends on personal preferences. I have hunted out of a XOP hang-on stand and a Lone Wolf sit and climb wide. Right now I hunt only using my DIY JX3 Hybrid saddle. I will bet that its more comfortable than any climber you have ever sat in, I even nap in it without fear of falling. There is a learning curve shooting and moving around. But my whole setup with 5 Wild Edge Steps (with one 5 steps aider) and my saddle is less than 10 lbs and 5 lbs more for my bow.
Please remember, that is hunting saddle is DESIGNED for long sit, its nothing like a arborist belt or a climbing harness. If you are using just that and not accompanied by a sit-drag system, you are using it wrong.
