I'm looking for a tripod for an angled spotting scope. I intend to use it mostly while sitting and the tripod on a bench or sitting with the tripod on the ground in front of me. It would be nice if I can also use it while standing with my camera. Is there anything around $100 worth buying for these uses? All the recommendations that fit these uses I'm seeing online are nearly $1000.

I am using a new (as of today) Calumet Camera tripod. Calumet had been Ritz. Not the world's best, but it seems adequate. Cost about $105. I had my small scope on it. 11X to 33X with 30mm lens. My big scope is a Leupold angled 20x to 60x with 60mm lens. (I can see a gnat's left testicle with it.) This is a lot heavier so I don't how much movement I will see through the scope.
