Interesting article. Too bad it falters inexcusably right from the start. The first police officer was on scene within two minutes after the first 911 call from inside the school at 9:35:50am. At least one more squad car was on scene staging within three minutes. An officer is on foot giving chase to someone within four minutes. Officers on scene are calling for two ambulances within four and a half minutes. There is zero ambiguity about it. Here is the 911 recording:

Pretty neutral article. Liked these bits:

"Things Aren't Really That Bad. Gun ownership is up, but crime is down. In general, crime in the United States has been declining for two decades. That's good news and shouldn't be lost in all the hype."

"When you leave out suicides (which make up more than half of gun deaths) most actual murders in this country are criminals killing other criminals. It's been that way for years."

A key piece of info is missing - How much time elapsed from the time the guy got there and the first 911 call?

Bravo to them. Logic is starting to emerge hopefully in time to stop the worst of the impending legislation. At least until the next member of the Holder Suicide Brigade uses a Bushmaster for Civil Mayhem.

Important, yes. But not pertinent to my point. LE cannot respond to what they have no knowledge of. The USA Today article falsely claims that LE did not arrive until "about 20 minutes after the first calls". That's complete nonsense and proven so by the 911 recording.

It matters not if it was two minutes or twenty minutes they did not get there in time to prevent a tragedy. That is why only an armed presence in every school will stop these actions before they reach their terrible conclusion, even then they won't be able to stop all the violence but they could curtail it.

Perhaps your argument is with CNN, the article stated that the 20 minute number came from the CNN timeline. I am sure CNN would welcome your analysis pointing out their error. Here is the referenced article.
