I remember being at parris island for JROTC mini boot camp in '86. We got to fire the M16a2. Then in maybe late '89 or early '90 my army unit got brand new A2's. They started going over the rifle, I was like I shot this in high school! I gave the the platoon the low down on it. Great rifle.
