Sounds like a nullification law. To date, these have not been upheld in higher courts.

Maybe this time it's different?

Upheld or not, I think we'd all love to see Maryland going in this direction instead of where we're headed.

It has only cleared the House, still needs to clear the Senate and be signed by the Gov. Hopefully it makes it through. It would be even better if this started some sort of legal battle that made it through the court system, possibly making all Federal gun laws are moot. Just dreaming out loud here!
