Mark Ballesteros, spokesperson for the Department of Veterans Affairs, said that the U.S. Constitution forces his agency to follow federal law, not New York’s new rules.

No need to congratulate the VA, they are attempting to strip veterans returning from the Middle East of their 2A rights WITHOUT DUE PROCESS!!

Besides, this clown is incorrect. He is bound by the law, Federal or State, only if the law is pursuant to the U.S. Constitution. If it is not, the law is unconstitutional and does not have ANY authority.

It doesnt help that when soldiers are separating, they get fed a LOT of "hey if ABC has happened to you, then you claim this, or that, IF you have trouble with X, Y.Z, you can get diagnosed with PD or Q and the pull 80% disability" etc etc. They see $$ signs but no one ever tells them that it will strip them of their 2A rights, and possibly others.
