Eventually the rest of the PP crew made their way through the packed crowd to our location from where they had staged earlier over at 9th and Main Street, snaking their 6-foot long “WE WILL NOT COMPLY” banner to join us at our “stage.”

The folks gathered on the stairs behind us cheerfully allowed us to join them at the top of the steps there to place the our huge WWNC banner at the highest point, visible from space.

Tucker Carlson had a good show tonight. I got to talk the the gentleman wearing the bandanna and carrying the FAL that is in some of the footage shown.

Even though Jeff lacked a bullhorn he hopped up on step-stool behind the PP banner and addressed the huge crowd, asking: “will you join me in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance?”

Motioning to our large Betsy Ross flag, Jeff began the Pledge and thousands, united in this moment, doffed their caps and joined him, followed by appreciative cheers and applause.

Jeff followed up with a request for all to sing “America the Beautiful” - - which was done in a very moving way.

Our audience was too distant to hear the words of the VCDL speakers on the Capitol grounds, so Jeff filled as a substitute speaker by leading the crowd in a recitation of the stirring words of the Second Amendment (more cheers and applause), followed by some hilarious call-and-response denouncements of Blackface Northam and his corrupt cronies.

Jeff finished with questions to the crowd to call out their home state to show the support given to Virginia by residents of other states, and closed with a brief description of Patriot Picket and our goal in coming to Virginia to support 2A Rights everywhere.

This activity attracted the attention of the news media, and Jeff was almost immediately approached afterward for press interviews, perhaps especially because of his loaded Tavor rifle strapped to his chest.

God bless the man! I’m glad he still looks great and is still tough even after all the issues he’s had to go through these past years. Wish I was there with him and all the other people that stood up for our rights.
