Is there anything in Maryland law that prevents adding a vertical grip to an AR-15 pistol (firearm?) over 26 inches in length? I know the Feds don't consider it a handgun or AOW because it is over 26 inches, and it is not a rifle because it does not have a stock, just not sure if there is any Maryland specific law that would make this illegal.

I think the current swing is that a brace doesn’t count towards OAL. So it would have to be end of buffer tube to front of barrel >26 inches. I think. Maybe. Rules may change tomorrow.
