And now for something other than just plan outrage at Walmarts decision. More of an analysis of what the impact will be.This is more of the Endgame of killing 2A than a Walmart discussion, but entails the Walmart news.

    A few points:

Years of store closings and lawsuits
    Import bans
    Dicks stopped selling everything
Now Walmart to basically stop selling all popular ammo

So all out war has been going on for a long time in this country. Now we are entering the endgame. They have chipped away legally for decades. They have watched as many retailers collapsed or were bought out. Then pushed the liberal agenda to corporate america that guns are bad, m'kay. Now the last largest ammo retailer in the US just caved and is giving up almost all ammo sales.

They never took a single path to their endgame of crippling the 2A. But we are now entering the endgame phase. Ammo will become virtually impossible to find or extremely expensive. Dont forget that they want to put ridiculous taxes on all ammo sales and sue the crap out of everyone who sells or manufactures anything firearms related. Wont take much to cripple us at this point. One lawsuit or law and its over.

Meanwhile the NRA is basically falling on its face and finding new ways to look like a complete joke. Other orgs are falling over themselves for the scraps that may remain from the NRA's great blunder.

Next years presidential election cycle is pretty important. I hope all the fudds get their heads out their axxes and vote for a serious candidate and not some joke. It's pretty much the last domino, one that may allow us to regroup and take a more direct approach to preserving our God given rights. After all the alternative are a bunch of left wing nut jobs who have all said that they will do everything possible to kill the 2A through packing the SCOTUS, crippling taxes, direct confiscation, or worse.

While I wildly disagree with their decision, any business has the freedom to decide what to stock on their shelves. Same with every customer who decides to continue to shop there, or not.

The need is greater than ever to educate the public on responsible firearm ownership to attempt to front-run more rash decisions like Walmarts. Organizations like the NRA would be better served to help with that effort, and get their issues straightened out.

Good point Matlack. Many think this is the beginning but simply do not know their history.

Vote, lol, we are in times where we are voting for the lesser of two evils, their is no winning but yes voting is necessary and its sad to see only ~50% of the country votes.

I grew up in the long shadow of Bentonville AR. It’s sad that the people running that organization are so brainwashed as to think that their admittedly painful choice will have any bearing on the problem as they see it.

Maybe it assuages their guilt? Their stockholders will not be impressed.
