Was the President's new conference and the "Town Hall" meeting just a photo op and way to be more divisive? Any Executive action has to be reported in the Federal Register. If it isn't there, it doesn't exist! A friend of mine pointed out that there isn't anything in the register, and I just checked! Since the first of the year, the only gun related item is a Memorandum on Smart Gun Technology listed on 1/7. No Executive Orders, No other documents from the Executive department. Seems kind of strange to me. Gives the appearance that he put it out there just to stir the pot and create the illusion that he is doing something, without really doing anything.

The only thing he's working on is his image. He's using the office to make himself feel important. That's it.

He worked on his image, to come off as, honest, down home, and folksy.

    folk·sy
having the characteristics of traditional culture and customs, especially in a contrived or artificial way.

I know members didn't need a definition, I just liked the "artificial way" part.:)

He and the media cronies are trying to steal public opinion that he is "doing something good"

That's all he wants to do and then to try to label the rational Republicans as obstructionists.

Not a photo op. In his world, he's much smarter than everyone who disagrees with him. This was him patiently explaining to us slow learners what he was doing for our own good.

This is the big Evil Party issue of the 2016 election.

"Gun" violence and "fighting" "The NRA" AKA the boogieman.

Billary spews it, Martin ("really I'm relevant") OMalley, even local Evil Party candidates spew it.

As the highest ranking Evil Party member (politically, if not internal party-wise) he is waving the flag.

The flag being in this case any issue to distract the stupid from all the failings of their candidates.

Keep it up, it's a loser issue Nationally.

To lighten the mood here's a joke:

How do you know when Obama is lying?

It's yours to answer. How would you finish the joke?
