So if I own a condo, technically I have an ownership interest in the entire property (the common elements). Under MD law as far as I can tell I can open carry on my property. Does this mean that I can open carry anywhere on the complex grounds?

I'll bet you can't openly carry in the common areas. I think you can carry only inside your unit, not outside at all. However, contrary to popular opinion, I can be wrong.
