You guys need to go to Vegas. You can rent and shoot all kinds of FA guns there.

    BT, DT.

Thompson was not impressive, but I am glad I shot it. M4 was fun. MP5 in 9mm is unimpressive. A friend had a Sten many years ago, cute, cheap, fun, but not that much

    M249 SAW was AWESOME.

I have two Pythons, so did that.

Ma Deuce would be fun, as would be any .50 cal.

I have wanted to shoot the M60 and M249 since I was a youngun' but the list keeps growing as I fall deeper into the gun "sickness". At this point I really want to shoot a S&W 500 and anything in 338 lapua at distance.

You guys need too come to the next Duffys MG shoot. Most of your dreams can be fulfilled. I can't begin to list the MG's that were there.

I actually was able to shoot one of these when I was at Aberdeen Proving Ground. They pulled it out for a dog and pony show they were doing for some congressional folks.

I only made it through a turn and a half before it went kaput. But that was a real fun turn and a half. :party29:

Last weekend, I went to the World War II re-enactment/airshow in Reading, PA. In one corner of the encampment they had a stand where you could shoot full-auto machine guns...but with blanks. I took a turn at the BAR, only 5 shots and it was over in under a second, but I NEED to do it again!! This time however, I want a full magazine and live, full-power rounds.

BTW -- if you haven't gone to this event, I strongly suggest that you go next year. It's always held in early June, close to the anniversary of D-Day. Most of the airplanes that flew during WWII were there: a B-17, a B-24, three B-25s, and the only (currently) flyable B-29 "Fifi" were part of the airshow. There were also many, MANY re-enactors in full garb and living in nationality-based encampments, U.S., Canadian, British, Aussie, Russian, German and Japanese.

The world will never see it again and I'm sure pictures don't do it justice, but a battleship firing a full broadside.
