Good to knowI should point out that there are some rifles in MD that would be banned as "copycat" weapons that can be sent to an FFL and then transferred to you, but only if the FFL is a gunsmith and makes them compliant before the transfer.
Example: Any modern tactical rifle that has both a folding stock and a flash hider (e.g., an FN SCAR or SIG MCX) is banned due to the "features test" of FSA2013, but if your FFL were to either pin the stock or replace the flash hider before transferring to you, you'd be GTG.
