Anyone locally has any 80% lowers for sale . I found 1 person so far but it doesn't hurt to shop around. Most online sites are sold out or on back order.

Here is the rifle I just put together using one of Boss94's lowers. I put a BCM upper on it and they went together like they were made for each other. Not even the slightest bit of play between the two. Honestly though, pictures don't do it justice. You have to see it in person to appreciate the work and time that went into it. I liked it so much, I'm actually going to get his other style Lower next week.

What kind of finish did you get on the lower? Did you anodize it yourself?

The new Military finish For the work I have done is no longer Anodizing. Its Alodine with a ceramic powder coating. I have been making aircraft parts, Robotics, Drones and Arms for the Militay since 1999 and about 2 years ago they changed there stance on anodizing.

This may be a stupid question, but how is a powdercoat mil-spec?

It is a coating approved to be used on Military Applications. There are multiple coatings used on Tanks, Planes, Ships, Weapons systems and other military vehicles. Every coating used on them has to meet a certain specification. The coating on Naval ships needs to be able to withstand salt water abuse and protect the material underneath from corrosion. There are multiple examples.

Here is a list put out by Sherwin Williams. It covers some of the coatings with military specifications.
