Went fishing with a couple buddies yesterday. Caught baitfish on the Magothy then ran up near Ft McHenry. Hoped the storm would miss us but it didn't.

Was still a great day. Very cool to see Baltimore harbor from the water.

Attempted to crab on the gunpowder today. Boat that ran like it was new last weekend decided to strand us on the river this weekend. Managed to paddle all the way back to the canal heading to Mariner point before someone finally tossed us a tow rope to take us the rest of the way. Totally amazed by the number of boats that just rolled past us with our engine cover off and me sitting on the bow with a paddle.

That sucks. I've towed a few boats back in my day. People are dicks.

That sucks. Noticed a big difference in the folks that use the free launch at Mariner Park versus Dundee which requires a permit.

Lol I don't even want to get into the circus at the ramp putting in. What a mess.

Me and my son floated down a short stretch of the Monocacy this morning. We caught about a dozen smallmouth and a bunch of sun fish. We were both using floating jerkbaits. Fun times!
