I will be 21 in june and would like to hear what i can do to be prepared to apply for my ccw i do not how ever want to hear about "its to hard dont waste your time blah blah blah" its my time ill waste it if i want ive already made my choice on my first pistol purchase it will be a ruger gp-100

MD LEOs can have great difficulty getting or cannot get a CCW. No more need be said about it. Your best course of action is to volunteer your time with MSI to help get the law changed to shall issue. If you're determined to have a CCW sooner than that, then you will need to move to a shall-issue state.

Not to sound obtuse but if you want to waste your time following through with the process (and that is fine) don't waste everyone else time and do a little work and perform a search on the subject....

Get someone to threaten you or wait till Wollard is decided by Circuit court or Supreme court. If your really interest in getting a CCW go for a Utah permit. You will get good training and a permit for 38 states. A GP-100 will be a bear to conceal, as its a pretty big wheel gun. I would suggest the River LCP 9mm or .380.

Under the current system I would say knee pads . The only people who get a CCP are those who have documented attempts on their lives or are connected politically . You know the old saying its not who you know its who you B***.

Then just take the Maryland State police firearms safety course and buy the wheel gun. I don't think even if you have G&S, you have the maturity or people to vouch for you at 21 to get a permit MD.

If you really feel strongly that you would like to have a CCP,

My best & most serious advice is to move to Pa, VA or WVA...

CCW among common citizens has not been allowed in Maryland since the Civil War...

This is NOT a joke, I'm not kidding, move out now...
