I'll add on to the dirty part. WWB requires so much cleaning when done shooting. My XDm didn't like the UMC. And it eats everything. Not an accurate round, when everything else works just fine.

Here is what I've shot in the past.

    PMC
    WWB
    Federal
    Tula
    Wolf
    Speer

I prefer Federal Champion. It's a little cheaper at Wally World, and much cleaner too boot.

So far, my one and only .45 ACP does get dirty with WWB. It's a lot easier cleaning the slide since the whole thing is nickeled. I need bullets now, I have a few hundred .45 ACP tumbled clean, waiting for me to load them. Shooting at the NRA Range has it's perks, apparently no one reloads there, and most folks are happy to give you their brass and pick it up for you.

I shoot a lot of WWB. For me it has been totally reliable, if not a bit dirty. I clean my pistols after shooting so that's not a concern for me.

Maybe I'm just not very observant...but I've shot a LOT of 9mm and 45 ACP WWB, PMC, Federal, American Eagle, Speer Lawman, S&B...and I really haven't noticed a difference in cleanliness of the rounds. Maybe I just don't pay attention. The guns do get cleaned after every range session anyway.

Actually thats not true, I do remember thinking to myself that the Lawman seemed noticeably cleaner.

I certainly haven't noticed any difference in accuracy...but I don't typically shoot beyond 25 yards.

Another concur with DCR.. great shooting but dirty. Re-loadable brass.

I maintain about 500 rounds of Winchester Whitebox .45 ACP in the stash.
