Winter Doesn't Give Up in Garrett County

Weather forecaster got it wrong for last night, thank goodness, woke to about an inch of snow, and with the sun poking in and out from behind the clouds it's pretty much gone.
Here's to hoping the white stuff is done until Christmas.

I guess I spoke to soon above, snowing like mad now and windy as can be. I better hold off on the toasting better weather for a few days.

There was snow for about an hour and a half in Arlington, VA (I'm here at my son's condo).

Please tell me this is the last of the snow for a while! Somebody needs to shoot the groundhog who said winter was over.

With the way the wind has been blowing it's hard to tell how much snow we've gotten. My guess is 4" to 5". And the temp will get to around 15F tonight.

The good news is the ground is warmer and the crap will melt soon. Rooter doesn't give a sh!t either way -> she's in a beagle food coma...lazy-ass hound.

This weather is insane this year. Sleet and snow this morning in AA County. Spring needs to get here and stay here....

We had about 10 minutes of rain and snow today. Location=Abingdon Md.
