So... I'm trying to find information about having guns in cars while concealed carrying. The WV SP Faq says this, among other things

"Individuals who possess a valid concealed carry permit may carry a concealed handgun in a motor vehicle for purpose of self defense only."

However, it specifically references having a permit (which, obviously is no longer needed after the 24th). Does the law apply the same way in the permitless carry world as it did? Should I reach out, again, to the Ag's office? is there a more definitive source?

If you are not a prohibited person on the 24th yopu can CCW without a permit.

    Don't overthink this thing.

This is the continuing discrepancy between the gun laws and the hunting laws.

If you're not hunting something and don't appear to be hunting something, don't sweat it.
