Not everyone could say they got their grail gun at 20 but i guess im just lucky.
another user requested i post a thread about this rifle so here it is.
for those who don't know the polish WZ. 91/98/23,25,or26 were mosin nagants captured by the poles during the polish soviet war or potentially left over from WW1 that were converted to be more like the mauser rifle they had just adopted. Mostly by being cut down to carbine length, the addition of a Mauser bayonet lug and most importantly being rechambered in 7.92x57 mauser.
This particular one was in pretty rough exterior shape, some surface rust all over and the bolt handle and cocking knob were rusted like crazy so i replaced them with some donor parts from my Izhevsk PEM that im re-snipering.
this also happens to be on a 1895 Izhevsk reciver making it really old and potentially the rifle may have been used in quite a few wars, making it astonishing its still around. The ruso Japanese war, ww1, the polish soviet war, and ww2.... thats a looot
