XD45 Sights

I am looking to switch out my XD sights for some sort of night sights. Anyone know of someone locally that can do this or should I suck it up and send it to Springfield?

Installing XD sights is freakin' tuff!!! I have personally done 2 sets. I marked both guns. Good thing they were both stainless steel. I won't do them anymore. If I were you I would send it back to Springfield for installation or even the sight manufacturer if they offer installation.

Send it back to SA. They push them in with a hydraulic press. They are almost impossible to move.

Seems Springfield is on a three week turn around so guess I need to wait till I have a backup before i send it off. Now I must narrow it down to a brand of sight. Any recommendations, basically looking for a three dot trit sight?

I just bought my XD 9mm, new, with night sights already installed.

Doesn't help you but just thought I should brag. I pick it up next week.
