Dan Wesson uses a series 70 firing system so it has neither the series 80, or Swarts safety.
They also use all forged parts that are hand fitted.

I've got some 10s, and here are my thoughts.
I bought a G40 put a 6moa RMR on it and ring 8x11 steel at 100 yards if I do my part. Great for ranch hunting, and can hunt deer in MD with the right loads.

He was telling me the dog is trained to alert on cleaning chemicals used on firearms as well as gunpowder in ammunition.
He stated that once the dog alerts he calls county police.
