They're liquidating inventory. I stopped in yesterday (3 July) and got a good deal on a Diamondhead combat front sight. I paid about ten dollars less than the lowest price I could find on Amazon. I'd recommend stopping in. The young man said they're shutting down the end of this month.
I have 65 once-fired 7mm Rem Mag brass cases; in original boxes and plastic inserts.
40 are Hornady.
25 are Federal ‘FC’ head stamp.
In return, I’m looking for once-fired:
55x Nosler .308 win, or
65x Norma .308 win, or
75x Lapua .308 win, or
80x Hornady .308 win, or
110x Remington...
Roady, Good Guy and/or Jerry,
What's the best way to dip a toe in the water? I don't know any members. Are there any practices open to the public? I'm a little hesitant to jump into a full competition without having ever practiced longer than 300. I have a Savage model 12 benchrest in .308. As...
You're right. Without a good optic, it's tough. I've been shooting the 300 yard at Delmarva with a 3-9x. Not too bad but I could use a little more magnification. From what I've read, the 600 to 1000 yard shooters use 25x up to 60x high density optics. I figured I'd go check them out at the range...
Any of you knowledgeable smiths out there have any experience with this topic? Walker trigger assy'm.
More specifically -- With the safety engaged, when the trigger is pressed then released, will the seer fail to reset allowing the firing pin to strike the primer as soon as the safety is...
Good data point. Thanks. I recently read that a 1 grain variance for 308s equates roughly to 80 fps variance. If accurate, .2 could equate up to 15 fps variance. Any idea how much this could affect groupings?
Knowing I can use a Dillon as a single stage helps.
Good information...
I'm also new to reloading. I recently realized that the powder mechanisms built into all the progressive presses measure the charge by volume, not by weight (in units of grains). The point is that, using volume measure, there will always be slight variation in any given number of samples. Are...
I think many legislators might even agree. They might tell you the dumb laws must be on equal footing with the dumb people...that some are too dumb for freedom. Pretty sad. If I was a libtard, I'd be pissed.
Wow. You just jumped to some wacky fkn conclusion dude. I choose human rights over cultural values, every time. Can we say the same for cultures who embrace sharia law? Hell m-effing no. How the crap can you defend a totalitarian death cult and say you're for freedom? Either taqiyya, or...
