We haven't even gotten to ballot box. 2014.

But we are getting ready to step there.

The bill has been reported that it will be "special ordered" to the House floor on Tuesday. Then we'll see what the next step might be.

Exactly. The fight is just beginning.

The OP makes a good point about letting it go, but I for one intend to keep reminding my senator and three delegates that I have not and will not forget the way they voted on these bills by either writing a short email or mailing them a short letter every other week until the next election.

The good news (if there is such a thing given the result of today's travesty) is that I've finally found a good use for my IPhone. I set an appointment for every other week in the calendar with an alarm to remind me to write to the four jerks and remind them that I have not forgotten them. And it runs all the way to November 2014. Just schmoozing with my "representatives" in the Maryland legislature... letting them know how happy I am with the job they are doing.

    What a day.

First and foremost, I met a TON of people today. It was the best part of the day. Just meeting folks. I apologize if I didn't spend much time talking to all of you. I was going in about 20 different directions for most of the day. Thanks to everyone who came up to say "hi." I guess if you post 1.5k times in 3 months, people start recognizing your screen name haha.

Thank you to everyone who came down today. Thank you to everyone who came down on another day, visited delegates, testified, called, emailed, faxed or stirred the drink in any other manner.

Having said all of that. SHIT. SHITTY SHIT SHIT SHIT. I had to leave at 6pm and when I read about the BS that happened and that they passed it... it took the wind out of my sails.

    Temporarily.

Here is the deal folks. When I played sports, someone taught me something that I try to keep with me. if you lose... you can be as PISSED as you want to be until midnight. After that, STFU and move on. If you WIN? Celebrate til midnight, STFU and prepare for the next one.

So be pissed. Express your anger. Get it out of your system. Because tomorrow... tomorrow we go back to work.

    Good to meet you.

Anybody can become angry - that is easy, but to be angry with the right person and to the right degree and at the right time and for the right purpose, and in the right way - that is not within everybody's power and is not easy.

    Year round fight.

Do not let anger blind you.

Now we start to pick off weak democrats. Hit weak spots not strong ones.

    Thanks to all ...

His point, I'm sure, related to letting go of the "highs and lows" ...

We need to step back, refocus, and address the needs and results from the events to unfold on Tuesday.

Another idea for MSI: if they weren't already planning on it we need a booth at EVERY county fair this year as well as the state fair so we can educate all the people coming through.

    Soap box didn't work
    Ballot box didn't work

The bill has not passed. It just got out of committee.

Floor debate next... and the clock ticks....

We are still in the fight, should have lost long before now.

We did that. We are making them pay...

This is causing some grief in the party.

I find joy in making them work so hard for this. It not much but it is something.

please make a showing next week. It looks like I can not ...

    Once more into the breach....

I will hopefully be able to move a company with 40+ employees out of state in the next few years.

Dibbs on HoCo. I will be there anyway most of the week.

I might have a plan.... every year the 4-H sells ad space on it's t-shirts for the year, it's not that much and they sell a couple hundred and give away several hundred to the 4-H'ers. The kids wear them all week and they are seen everywhere. Afterall, it'll be for the children :)

Best part of the day by far was touching Teratos' hair. Felt like the holy grail.
