It could. I used to administrate PIA requests and will tell you there are a lot of potential exemptions written into that law for different types of information. One would have to challenge those in district court if they claimed any of them. But it's a start. Like most good intelligence it's often a question of getting enough pieces of the puzzle to build on and find out where to look for more.

I cant get the capital police on broadcastify.

MFIRST (Maryland FIRST) radio system is not current on broadcastfly or megahertz, so no scanner feed. Trust me, if it was, I would have it by now since I know the owner/provider of broadcastfly/radioreference.com

This is nothing new and has been going on for years. I have attached a picture of one of the arrested casually speaking with AG Brian Frosh c.2016, while holding a sign at the same location he was arrested last night. What changed? Why was this OK for years, but is now an arrest-able offense?

Powerful image. Send that to any news entity covering the incident. Note that AG Brian Frosh is talking to one of those arrested on the same stretch of sidewalk in which he was arrested doing the exact same activity.

As per the capital police being so concerned about pedestrian safety in that area, what other steps have they previously taken to improve safety in light of their concerns besides arrest peaceable protestors on a public sidewalk? Surely these are documented.

I, too, am very disturbed about the arrests last night and have made an official inquiry to DGS Police Chief Michael Wilson about the incident.
I can’t get till Annapolis till 730pm on Monday nights due to work, and have a 730p appt next week, but will stop by on my way into session to show my support.
