Today wasn't in the cards for me. My wife's mom had a brain hemorrhage last night, so we didn't get a lot of sleep. I'm happy to see that you all gave them the business today! I enjoyed the special "testimoney" provided. Thank you to all who showed up!!

FWIW- I have no idea how I ended up on a panel with Sen. Lee, Andrea Chamblee, et al. They called my name and I wasn't about to pass up the offer.
I signed up to testify "In Favor" and gave the "regular", young AA trooper in plain clothes- who is present at every session- a head's up of what my intentions were.
I'm convinced The Senate Chair was in the loop and he was who stopped the trooper trying to remove me from the panel.
PP members in the front row saw what most missed.

You're a mad lad! I wasn't in the room but I had a grin on my face when I heard you over the speakers. Heard the troopers were getting ancy, did you see smoke coming from the mommies' ears?

I was watching the whole thing from the back row. The Chair almost seemed to be entertained by the whole thing.

Speaking of The Chair, does anyone else have the impression he's not very happy with the House for rushing out the bill for a vote, because he's getting stuck cleaning up the mess?

I wish I had seen this post earlier. I was so wrapped up with Virginia I missed his post. Sorry I didn't make this one. I know how important these rallies are.

I didn't realize that you had tipped off the popo, was wondering if they recognized you from out on the bricks. Well done.

Yes, my thoughts as well. The House is like the petulant little child that wants what they want and they want it now without any thoughts about anyone else.

My flight got cancelled what did I miss with squaregrouper. Saw the beginning of the hearing but had to pack it up due to nagging flight attendant ? Is the video up yet, I don’t see it ?

Don't ask for a description. The only way to truly experience it is on video. Text would be like having someone describe a Salvador Dali painting.

Stick a fork in it boys, it's done! Sen. Hough and Sen. Ready ripped them to shreds in the opening segment! Great job! Then it was panel after panel of MDA. No facts, just emotional drama that had nothing to do with the actual bill! Before they were done, I knew the "fix" was in. Finally those who were supposed to be on our side got to speak. Some put out real facts that the committee had no clue about. Then, before my eyes, some of "our" people started helping with suggestions that would resurrect and help pass this bill! Simply unbelievable! I had to leave before it was all over but, it looks like I was there until almost the very end.
