Was there any gun powder in Gun Powder river?
You possibly can’t read a map, the southeast part of the county is touching the bay. The southwest portion is touching Howard County.
Looks like a big blue lake to me.

Yes I am near Watersedge area of Dundalk. I have been in this area for many years.
There's a Minebank Run north of Cromwell Bridge Road near Towson which runs into the Gunpowder. I always heard saltpeter was mined along the Gunpowder and used to make powder for the Continental Army.
Another source was nightsoil from chamberpots. Abigail Adams organized the ladies of Boston to contribute theirs to the cause.
Looks like a big blue lake to me.
